The new overall theme of the post-graduate course is now:
“ Can a dramatic presentation of both positive and negative traits, incorporating modern medical advances as well as real-world experiences of those in a common target vocation (the film industry), be filmed in such a way as to demonstrate the reality of Dyslexia to, and be understood by, both adult and child audiences?”
Through this question I hope to:
- further my understanding of dyslexia in the creative industries and explain the anecdotal or perceived situation with the film industry
- develop new skills in filmmaking by attempting to present material through a dramatic presentation which might otherwise be expected to be delivered through a documentary medium.
